The Coalition for Recreational Trails is soliciting nominations for its 2006 Recreational Trails Program (RTP) Achievement Awards in order to recognize the efforts of groups around the country that have completed RTP-funded trail projects since 1998.
The awards will be presented in Washington, D.C. during Great Outdoors Week 2006 (June 12-16) as part of the Coalition’s ongoing effort to build awareness and appreciation of this highly successful program. CRT is currently planning to hold the awards ceremony on Capitol Hill and will encourage Members of Congress to join them in honoring the outstanding achievements of their constituents.
You can help by nominating those organizations and individuals who work hard to preserve and improve the trails on which we depend for recreation. Nominations are due by April 17th.
