Time to give back to the trails we love to ride. This will be a fun weekend of trail detail working together with the Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association and the Forest Service. Special thanks to CBMBA for making the arrangements with sponsors and FS.
— Dinner will be provided on Saturday nite
— Breakfast Sunday morning (meals sponsored by Crested Butte Builders and Trail Source)
— Beer from New Belgium Brewery
— Raffle for merchandise and gift certificates! (sponsored by KTM of Aspen and the Colorado 500)
We will meet at the camp site at 9:30 am on Saturday. We will work on the Bear Creek Trail on Saturday and Flag Creek on Sunday. We will likely work till one or two on Sunday. Bring heavy work shoes and gloves and either your dirt bike or mountain bike for getting around. There will be time to ride if you like around midday Sunday.
Camp site is 30 miles from Crested Butte. Take Highway 135 south and a left on Jack's Cabin Cut-Off. Take a left on Taylor River Road, a left on Spring Creek Road and drive to Spring Creek Reservoir and take another left at the Mosca Campground turn. Drive past the reservoir and take the next two lefts until you come to the CBMBA banners. There will be some signs to indicate the way from the Mosca Campground turn.
For those of you who would like to ride over from the Roaring Fork Valley, I will provide transport for your gear if you drop off your stuff to KTM of Aspen no later than noon on Friday. I will plan on meeting you with your gear at campsite on Saturday morning.
Please RSVP to Traci asap.
